There are 9. Most people run a high level for the first 20–30 minutes to warm up, then drop to a low one to stay cozy — the constant-temperature control holds whatever level you pick.
Does it turn off by itself?
Yes — set the timer anywhere from 1 to 12 hours and SnugCloud switches off automatically when it ends. The maker also advises switching the power off whenever you leave the blanket unattended.
Can I sleep with it on?
Use the timer instead: pre-warm the bed, then let the blanket switch itself off as you drift off. The maker's label advises turning the power off when the blanket is left unattended, and it is not intended for infants or anyone insensitive to heat.
Will it work with my power outlet?
