Which math operations does it cover?
All four: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. One press switches the mode, and a turn of the knob shuffles in a fresh combination of numbers — so no two sheets need to be the same.
Does it need special paper?
No — it prints on standard A4 or US letter printer paper, and plain notebook paper works too. Roll steadily on a flat surface and the column comes out clean.
How does the ink work?
NumberRoll™ arrives pre-inked and ready to roll, and an ink refill bottle is included. When impressions start to fade, add one drop of ink per number face, wait about three minutes for it to absorb, and keep rolling.
Is it safe for young kids?
The roller itself is a solid, palm-sized piece made for kids' hands. The set does contain small parts (like the ink refill bottle), so it is not suitable for children under 3, and we recommend young learners use it together with an adult.
My child is just starting out — is it too hard?
You choose the mode, so you can stay on simple addition at first and bring in subtraction, multiplication and division whenever your child is ready for the next step.
