Which walls does the suction work on?
The vacuum suction grips best on smooth, sealed surfaces: painted walls, plaster, tile, glass and laminate. On very rough or crumbly surfaces (raw brick, textured render) the grip is weaker — hold it in place by hand there, it still catches the dust the same way.
Does it fit my drill?
Yes — DustDock isn't attached to your drill at all. It mounts on the wall and your drill bit simply passes through the metal-ringed port, so it works with any cordless drill or electric screwdriver you already own.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 5 hours of use per charge — enough for a full weekend of jobs around the house. It recharges over USB from any charger or power bank.
Is the laser safe?
It's a low-power red line laser (650 nm) for marking straight lines up to about 2 m. As with any laser, don't look directly into the beam or point it at people or pets, and keep it away from small children.
How do I empty it?
Hold it over the bin and press the release — the transparent chamber opens and the dust drops out. Wipe it clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth; the body is IP54 dust- and splash-resistant, but don't rinse it under the tap.
